W/C 23rd April: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Welcome back everyone, I hope you all had a super Easter. The children have all come back with big smiles on their faces and ready to learn. It was a short week this week with the bank holiday, but we’ve still managed to carry out lots of learning! We began our new topic ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ this week. We have read the story and did some super counting to find out how much food the caterpillar had eaten. We have been making some repeating pattern caterpillars, strengthening our fingers by threading the beads. In phonics, we have been talking like robots and are beginning to hear and blend CVC words. Next week we will be continuing with our topic and have some special visitors coming into Nursery!
